Is the button working in anyway?
Is the button sticking?
Is the handsfree function actually switched on in Rlink? To check follow this path:
MENU -> VEHICLE -> Swip Left -> USER SETTINGS
Hands Free Key Function should be ON

What should happen when unlocking the car is to obviously have the remote with you and press and release button on door handle, car should unlock.
When locking the car press the button twice in quick succession.

When using Hands Free Car Function, beware of the security of your car when parked up and the key is in close proximity to the car, say in your house, keep the keys in a shielded container.
