I have done an update, European maps.via USB on the R link2.
Now having a problem that my car alarm has now activated 4 times this afternoon.
Not had an issue with false alarm on my new car prior to today, so I am thinking it's linked to the download some how?
Nobody else had an issue like this?

There is no link between the Download and the Alarm.

Did you do the update with the car running,just wondered if it could be low battery lots of cars alarms go off if its voltage drops too much.

Yes did have the engine running.
After a few false alarms yesterday, it was ok over night.
Another false alarm this morning, but holding my key fob to reset the car I noticed the unit was split inside the leather wallet.
Reconnected the fob all seems ok.
So maybe it was just coincedence me doing the download etc and the alarm going off randomly yesterday.
Hoping it was just the keyfob.

Still have trouble with the wife’s kadjar been like it since we got it 2 years old ..:only way to stop it going off is to long press the lock button ....been in to dealers several times but still the same...hopefully you have cured yours..?..
